How does Food Rescue support the Circular Economy?
The circular economy keeps resources in use - reducing, reusing and redirecting instead of discarding. At Nourished for Nil, food rescue puts that into action: surplus food from Hawke's Bay supermarkets, growers and cafes that would otherwise go to landfill is redirected straight back into the community, cutting waste and emissions while feeding people in our community.
